it is what it is...so deal with it

I felt like writing about something that pisses me off when it comes to other people. For most of my life, people think I'm some over sensitive person that gets upset easily. True, I can get really pissed and upset over some things that in the big picture mean nothing, but in reality who hasn't i life. The past year has taught me something that I am now living by: things are what they are, and they are that way for a reason and you just have to deal with it.

I used to sit and worry about a lot of things in my life. I used to worry about the future, or something that is happening now that won't mean anything in the long run. I get this from my family, and this kind of mindset has led to a lot of health problems and death. My dad used to be like this, worried about everything he did and how it would affect the stability and security of the family (a natural feeling, but he took it to a level where he looked so insecure about a lot of what he did). A lot of my relatives are like this as well, guess that's what they learned from previous generations. Along with this, they also worried about the welfare of others before their own, which has led to more stress on them. Most of my relatives have had, have, or may have major problems when it comes to their heart. From all this, i have learned to not be like them. Seeing my dad's corpse on the floor really made me put things in perspective. I now am choosing to not live the way the previous generations have lived. I do my best to not worry about anything at all now. My attitude is it is what it is, and I have to deal with the way things are no, an not worry about how things can end up.

This attitude can be odd for some, and irritating for others. My family thing I don't care about anything, but in reality I just don't worry about EVERY little thing like most relatives do. In the big picture, 90% of what they worry about are things that either are going to work themselves out, or just simply means nothing. On the other hand, some are appreciative that I have this attitude, and that I”m not putting pressure on them to do things they simply can't do at this time. They like it that I”m not upset at them at the situation they are in and that I”m not putting more pressure on them. I know that the situation they find themselves in won't be this way forever, and I just have to take it for what it's worth and work with it.

All I have to say is STOP WORRYING ABOUT THE LITTLE BULLSHIT!!! That's putting too much stress on people these days, and all people should do is just calm down, take a step back and look at what;s going on now and not worry about the past or future, and just handle things as best you can, and accept whatever comes out in the end.
