Not much new going on, things are good. Don't want to get into certain things because I don't want to jinx things. Today I did my usual thing, along with going to every hobby shop in Queens loking for one stinking part for my R/C car (it wasn't even for the car itself, but the starter I use to start the car!!) Eventually I had to order the part through the shop I usually go to, so hopefully I can run my car this weekend, that is if I have time to go out with it.

A quick word to DC United fans after hearing they are technically homeless now that the Expos are coming in and going to become the primary tenant in RFK until their new baseball stadium is done:
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! KARMA SUCKS DOESN'T IT!!!!
(sorry, just always a good day when the DC Scum get screwed in anyway, just like when those pictures of US soccer's "God", 15-year old Freddie Adu, getting hammered at a U of Maryland party came out....)
Hooray!!! every station here in NYC is goign to be showing the snoozefest/BS showcase between two men that show almost zero things why they shouldn't be running a lemonade stand let alone the biggest nation in the world.....oh well, I got DVDS/tapes, and I can call people...

went to a weddin'

i'm listing what happened for simplicity sake:

1. my cousin downed at least half a bottle of Pepto, he was kind of nervous

2. Me, my cousin, and his nephew (ring bearer) were in a limo for like 10 people with a bar in it

3. we didn't touch the bar, too nervous and didn't want to spill anything on the tuxes

4. Had a couple drinks before the wedding, hey they offered!!!

5. Damn, the Bride's maid was smoking in her dress!!!

6. The bride looked great, first time I've seen her with her hair up in any way

7. HAHAHA my cousin screwed up the vows....what an assclown!!!

8. I love my family, at the end of the ceremony, his wife had to sign the licence, and all I heard from my relatives was "shes signing the pre-nup!" I thought that was funny..

9. Thank God I took dance classes at college, need it today...

10. Amazing what genius I'm capable of under pressure....my toast apparently touched people's hearts...but then again, whens the last time someone has gone up to the best man and said "man that toast sucked!!!"

11. It was nice to see all the family again, sad we only get together rarely

12. Her family's all cool with me, they were real nice and all. Plus it helps that my cousin gushes about me all the time to them, which made being this best man even more of an honor! Also put some more pressure on me to get my act together!!!!

I may have forgot a lot of stuff, but that probably because of the long day. It was a beautiful day, with beautiful people, in a beautiful place. and I was glad to be a part of it

This weekend was a real hard weekend, I still hurt from all the work I had to do. Saturday night, I got to see the real champ beat the hell out of the pretty boy (not to mention knock him on his ass!!!). Sunday, I helped my cousin move is in-laws to their new house in Central Jersey (I think central, since all the businesses had 732 area codes). I learned several things that day:
1. I'm amazed a U-Haul Truck can hit 90 mph without being required to be dropped out of a plane! I was driving my cousin's car with his sister-in-law doing 80 on the Jersey turnpike, yet my cousin drove the truck and was pulling away from me!!! Best part was the sweat coming out of me when my cousins sister in law mentioned the sign that said "speed limit-45 mph"....
2. I found out that his siter-in-law knows a whole hell of a lot about me, though i never really spoke to her a whole lot (not a bad thing, just found that intersting)
3. Jersey's suburbia are much more hardcore than Long Island's suburbia, yo!!! and two words about the area around the Holland tunnel....Crack Alley
4. Apparently, Jersey hates lefties, can't turn left off of Route 9, you have to make a round about way that requires 2 rights and a left just to make ONE left....
5. Small fact: if you're told to drive 6 miles down one road over the phone, it's really more like 9-10
6. During the entire trip, my cellphone didn't lose any reception...YES VERIZON RULES!!!!
7. no matter what road/highway my cousin chooses to take, it's always backed up with traffic!!!!
Well, tonight I learned I can help people get to their home over the phone, even if they barely give me an idea where they are...must be from all that boyscout training

In about a week, I will be the best man (though all the ladies to tell me I am the BEST man...yuk yuk yuk!) at my cousin's wedding. I'm sorta nervous about it, since this will be the first time I'm being responsable for anything at a wedding. I've been working on the speech for this thing, and its hard to get it right. I have about 20 ideas as to what to say, just have to make sure that it's coherent and sane! What sucks is I have to keep myself somewhat sober for this thing, don't want to look like an ass in front of everyone. Luckily I'll be in front of family, so thay HAVE to love me, and there's not a damn thing they oculd do about it becides bring it up at other family functions.

I hope it all goes down well. Becides if my cousin decides to run, I'll hunt him down, gut him like a fish, and deliver him to his fiancee personally, cause if he's going to put me in a penguin suit, I"m going to make it worth the money I"m spending on the rental!!! HAHAHA

it's been a while....

sorry, haven't done this in a while. Busy with a bunch of stuff, and just haven't had anything to say. Maybe this wek I"ll go into detail about what's going on. I will say that I had a physical this past week and I have slightly high blod pressure and have to lose a little weight, but I can go into that later. it's too late now, and someone's monopolizing my time on Im right now....

Pardon the dust..I'm remodeling

Hope you like the slight modifications to the blog, if you don't that's you're problem now isn't it!!!

Tonight spent my time online talking to people, having a great conversation with someone, but had to cut it short so she could get her work done. After, went onto pokerroom.com and played a few hands with some guys form the ronfez.net message board. I was doing OK (the guys I played with lent me money too, had me up to $3000 at the start of the game, usually I start with 1000), but in the end I got hustled, but it was cool meeting some of the people that post there.

Also today picked up THE football game of the year, NFL 2k5 for the PS2....for $20 you get a game that makes Madden's latest look like something from back in the Sega Genesis days!!! and for 20 bucks, you have nothing to lose (as apposed to 50 for Madden). Only thing is that some of the stadiums aren't fully accurate (some have grass where they really have fieldturf, some have the astroturf where in real life the have fieldturf), but other than that it's a great game.
