just to tell you

I updated my resume and the link is on the page here...

anyone likes what they see, let me know, I may be available soon for all I know

quick things about things going on with me

Just putting some quick things up here, so if they don’t’ make sense, that’s your problem:

-Red Bulls and Rangers got that asses kicked Saturday, and I spent my entire afternoon in the rain.  Fun day for me.  Topper was suiting in my car waiting for the traffic to die down and watching all the Devils “fans” screaming and hooting….where were they in the 80s I ask???  Also, the Meadowlands suck when they have two events going on at once.  It’s just a nightmare going to a soccer game at Giants Stadium when there’s something going on at the arena (even worse when that fair they NJSEA has to extort money out of customers).

-Speaking of the Giants, They got LaVar!!!! It’s what I always say, when you want a good defense; you gotta get some PSU alums!!!!

-My job situation is getting interesting.  I asked about some extra hours and they said maybe in a couple weeks.  A couple hours later I get a message I am to meet with one of my supervisors Tuesday, so maybe they will be giving me more hours, then again the could be letting me go, since my supervisor was rambling on about changes at the building I’m at.

-This week is already going slow, and it’s going to get slower until Saturday, which I got a big thing going on.  I’m excited about it, but I just wish Saturday would come sooner!!!

the sun is up and so am I

I am writing this in the morning, since at night now it seems I am kept busy all hours of the night.  It’s not a bad thing that I am, just I keep forgetting to write something for here, or when I get done with what I do, I’m just too tired to even bother turning on MS Word.  I also just learned that I have to be more focused on how I write things here, since in the past week or so people are calling me out on things I’ve written on this blog.  Nothing bad, just find it funny that I am.  Don’t get what I’m writing right now?  I’ll explain it eventually.

Anyway, the job is going ok. I’m supposed to be getting more hours to put my total at a full 40, but I haven’t heard anything more about it.  I’m going to be asking about it and if I don’t hear the answer I really want to hear, my resume gets sent out to other people.  On a related note, my resume should be updated soon.  Again, I’ve been pre-occupied with a thing I do at night, and I have no clue how to write about my job on my resume.

Anyone watching the Sopranos out there?  I’m liking the season so far, especially now since all the episodes now make sense.  Usually David Chase, the writer/creator of the show, will throw out a plot line and not conclude it.  This season all the stuff that is thrown out there (whether or not it really fits into the main storylines) is resolved at some point.  I think Chase realized that he has to go back to how he used to write the show, and not what he did the past couple seasons.  I think a couple years ago, when people were really paying attention to the show, Chase saw that a lot of the major critics liked the show but not the violence.  After seeing this, Chase said to himself “well, to get these major critics to fully like me and that can make me more money, I’ll make the show more psychological and make people think.”  Well, he did that and went too far with it, almost like Chase was thinking too much about EVERY detail, and the main audience really hated him for it.   Now I think he finally found a balance of all that and the show is back to how it was several years ago.  The only other major issue is that the season now seem to come out once every 4 years…making it the “Olympics of Cable TV”

Mets are kicking ass, just thought I would mention that.  Don’t worry, there’s plenty of time for the wheels to come off and the Mets go back to mediocrity,

Just a simple update

So this weekend sucked, I was sick and still went to Dc for the first Red Bull game.  It was ok until the wannabe hooligans started shit in the stadium and parking lot.   A couple people got hurt, but not bad enough to go to the hospital.

Today I’m still sick a little, but also now have an ear infection, so I’m on antibiotics (thank god for the state health program I’m in, since my temp agency is too fucking cheap to offer a health plan to long term temps like EVERY OTHER TEMP AGENCY IN THE CITY DOES).  I went to the doctor to get checked out, and I also found out I may have a problem with my blood pressure and maybe my cholesterol (I won’t find that out until I go in next Monday).  This really hit home for me since these were the EXCACT same problems my dad had, so I have to make sure I take care of it.  It really does frighten me about the whole thing, since I really want to change my life around, and I have felt the best I’ve had in a long time.  I hope that it’s a rather simple solution to the whole thing, other than the obvious changing how I eat and what I eat (I had a long conversation with my mom and sister last night about this, and out diet will be changing.

Other than that nothing much happening, I just wanted to through something up here since some of you I bet look at this from time to time.
